The year at ZIS

This last year at my school has been a blur. Probably because of my job search for next year. Oksana was unable to continue her job at the school because of visa issues but has been enjoying being home. the boys have done very well and have been enjoying their current teachers and their classmates. Currently I'm continuing the band program at school and trying to complete the ceramic tile mural jointly with all of the students. I'll post some pictures when it's complete. I've determined that I really need to be more consistent with this blog (I know, I know, famous last words but I'll try).

UPDATE!

My last post was in July of last year! So much has happened since then I'm not sure where to start. We had a wonderful month in Ukraine visiting with Oksana's family. Here are some photos....

It was great to have Aloysha join us. It was a much needed visit for him and Peter and Cristian were able to connect with their family members on their mom's side.
